Focus Sheep (the “App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The developer does not collect, sell, or use your personal data for tracking through the App.
Your focus tags, notes, start and end times, session results, statistics, and related settings are stored locally on your device by default.
If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your focus records are stored in your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit so they can be synchronized across your own devices.
Your private iCloud database is accessible only through your Apple account by default. The developer cannot view its contents in the CloudKit Console. Synced data uses your personal iCloud storage.
You may turn off iCloud sync at any time in the App’s settings. If sync is enabled, deleting a focus record will synchronize that deletion to iCloud and your other connected devices. You may also manage related data through Apple’s iCloud settings.
If you choose to enable calendar sync, the App will request calendar permission and write focus records to the system calendar you select for each tag. Calendar data is not uploaded to the developer’s servers.
You may disable calendar access at any time in your device settings or turn off calendar sync within the App.
If you choose to enable Focus Guard, the App uses Apple’s Family Controls and Managed Settings technologies to let you temporarily block selected apps, app categories, or websites during a focus session.
Your selections are processed through Apple’s system interface and are not uploaded to the developer’s servers. You may decline this permission or stop using Focus Guard at any time without affecting the App’s basic focus timer.
Membership purchases and purchase restoration are processed by the Apple App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive your bank card number or other payment credentials.
Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and service terms.
The App retains focus records and settings on your device until you delete the relevant records, clear the data, or uninstall the App.
